Hope you’re doing well! I’ve been reflecting on all the incredible conversations we had at SEAT 2025 in Nashville last month. One topic that resonated with me was the intersection of cybersecurity and physical security in venues, and it’s one of the most urgent and under-discussed threats facing our industry today.
Do you agree?
As technology becomes more integrated into the fan experience (from facial recognition at gates to biometric payments at concessions), we’re creating incredible convenience… and a wider attack surface.
What happens when your face is your ticket and your wallet?
I’m curious about your perspective on a few things:
- How concerned are you about the convergence of physical and digital security in sports venues?
- What keeps you up at night when it comes to biometric access and payment systems?
- Are you aware of the real threats to fan data, venue operations, and connected systems that the industry isn’t discussing enough?
It may be the convergence of cybersecurity and physical security I mentioned.
Perhaps it’s the implementation of AI, data privacy, accessibility innovation, or something entirely different that sparked your interest in Nashville.
I’m exploring what our community is most passionate about discussing: the topics that matter enough to warrant bringing the right people together for focused, collaborative conversations.
I’d really appreciate your perspective on this.
Please let me know what would get you most excited to dive deeper.
Even a brief one-liner would be incredibly helpful as I consider what our community needs most.
Thanks for taking a moment to share your thoughts.
Warm regards,
