Call for Papers & Session Ideas for SEAT 2026
Your ideas, your content.
The Call for Papers & Session Ideas for SEAT 2026 is now open, and we’re inviting the community to submit session ideas.
SEAT sessions are not paid speaking opportunities, and we do not sell presentation slots. All breakout content goes through the Steering Committee editorial process to ensure sessions are focused on learning and real-world insight for the community.
The most successful sessions tend to be practical case studies or collaborative presentations between teams, venues, universities, and technology partners that highlight real deployments and lessons learned. The goal is not a sales pitch but an opportunity for the community to learn from one another.
SEAT 2026 will feature FOUR content tracks:
- Venue Technology & Security
- Data & Business Intelligence
- Digital, Sponsorship & Ticketing
- Customer Experience
We encourage a wide range of ideas and perspectives, we expect overlap, in fact, we encourage it.
In 2026, we will be building the experience to match the content type:
- Panel sessions – a SEAT staple 3-4 people discussing a topic and sharing insights.
- Fireside chats – deeper dive interview/conversation between two people.
- Keynote – one person presenting a big idea, topic or case study.
- Workshop/Roundtable (Interactive) – Work the whole room, get everyone involved.
Session ideas should be submitted by April 15. Either submit a fully formed idea or let us know what topic you’d like us to tackle.
