Charlotte’s in the books, and SEAT all year round is almost here
Thank you for Charlotte. Here’s the harder feedback we heard, where 2027 is heading, and the year-round SEAT we’re building next. Plus two people worth celebrating.
Charlotte is officially in the books, and what a way to close out this chapter of SEAT.
From George Hanna’s opening look inside Intuit Dome, to David Meerman Scott’s closing keynote, to the energy in SEAT City every night, this community showed up. And then you told us exactly what you thought, which, honestly, is even better.
A few of my favorites from the feedback:

The harder feedback, and what we’re doing with it
We also heard the feedback that stings a little, and we’re glad you told us straight. You told us the agenda needs to land earlier. You told us the room needs more teams and leagues alongside our vendor partners. And you told us SEAT City is the model to build on.
Loud and clear. That input is already shaping how 2027 comes together, from when we publish the agenda, to how we’re rebalancing the room, to the moments we design around the community itself.

New city. New dates. A program built directly from what you told us. We’re almost ready to say where, and if you’ve enjoyed the ride so far, this is the part where it gets good. Keep an eye on your inbox.
The bigger news: SEAT, all year round
The SEAT membership you’ve been asking about is almost here, and it’s the thing we’re most excited to share.
Membership is SEAT built for the whole year, not just the days we’re together in one city. Here’s what that looks like.
The full SEAT content library, launching with membership. Session recordings, roundtable recaps and more. The knowledge that used to live only in the room, now available whenever you need it.
Access for your whole organization. Membership belongs to your org, not to a single person. Bring your colleagues in, and the value grows with your team.
The year-round community. Roundtables, pop-up meetups and the conversations that make SEAT what it is, happening between conferences and not just at them.
More on the way. We’re already building what comes next, including new podcasts made for this community.
And we’ve been deliberate about one more thing. Membership sits in a different budget line than the conference, so it never has to compete with your travel and event spend. We know how budgets work on your side of the table, and we’re working hard to make SEAT membership both valuable and affordable.
Two people worth celebrating
SEAT is growing, and so is the team behind it.
RC Woodson, Partnerships. RC is stepping up as our partnerships point person. As I spend more of my time alongside our teams, leagues, venues and education partners, RC will be the one connecting with the partners who want to engage with the SEAT community, and especially with our members. If you’re a partner looking to plug in, RC is your person.
Paige Coble, Member and Conference Experience. If you’ve been to either of the last two SEATs, you’ve already felt Paige’s work. She’s led our team on the ground and kept the room running. Now Paige is leading member and conference experience, and she’s bringing that same standard to members year-round.
