SEAT Code of Conduct

Last Updated: 11/01/2025

SEAT (“SEAT”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) brings together professionals from across the sports and entertainment industry to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and build community. We expect all participants to help create a safe, welcoming, and productive environment for everyone.

This Code of Conduct applies to all SEAT events, including in-person conferences, virtual events, networking gatherings, and online communication spaces.

  1. Be Respectful and Professional

Treat all attendees, speakers, staff, sponsors, and partners with courtesy. We value open discussion and diverse perspectives but expect disagreements to be handled respectfully.

Unacceptable conduct includes harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, personal attacks, or the disruption of sessions and activities.

  1. Anti-Harassment Policy

Harassment will not be tolerated in any form. This includes verbal harassment, sexual language or imagery, intimidation, stalking, or any behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome. If someone asks you to stop, you must stop immediately.

  1. Respect Privacy and Networking Boundaries

Attendee contact information is shared for professional networking purposes only. Mass unsolicited outreach, public posting of attendee data, or data scraping are prohibited.

  1. Photography, Recording, and Media Use

SEAT events are photographed and recorded. By attending, participants grant permission for their image and likeness to be used for SEAT promotional and educational purposes. If you have concerns, please contact events@seatconference.com.

  1. Social Events and Alcohol

SEAT social gatherings may include alcohol. Attendees are expected to maintain professional behavior at all times. Intoxication is not an excuse for inappropriate or disruptive conduct.

  1. Reporting a Concern

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, notify SEAT staff or email events@seatconference.com. Reports are handled respectfully and discreetly whenever possible.

  1. Consequences of Violations

SEAT may take appropriate action, including verbal warnings, removal from the event without refund, restriction from future events, or involvement of appropriate authorities if necessary.

SEAT is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment and continuously improving our participant experience.
