Intuit Dome’s George Hanna to open SEAT 2026
Intuit Dome: Engineering the Ultimate Fan Experience
Opening Fireside Chat | Monday, June 29 | 9:00 AM | SEAT 2026, Charlotte
When Intuit Dome opened in Inglewood in 2024, it immediately set a new benchmark for what a modern sports arena could be. It delivered again at NBA All-Star Weekend in February 2026. The venue’s reputation isn’t built on aesthetics alone. It’s built on the technology behind it.
At SEAT 2026 in Charlotte, we’re opening the conference with a conversation that goes inside that story.
George Hanna, Chief Technology and Digital Officer of the LA Clippers and Intuit Dome, will join us for our Opening Fireside Chat, interviewed by Fernando Perez, VP Sports & Hospitality at JMA Wireless.
About George Hanna
George Hanna is the Chief Technology and Digital Officer for the LA Clippers, responsible for the technology vision across the entire organization. That includes the LA Clippers, their G League affiliate the Ontario Clippers, the Kia Forum, and Intuit Dome.
In his role, Hanna leads the commercial, operational, and experiential technology strategy that has made Intuit Dome a reference point for the industry. The results speak for themselves: in 2025, he was named Tech Executive of the Year by Sports Business Journal and CIO of the Year by ORBIE.
Before joining the Clippers, Hanna spent nearly a decade at The Walt Disney Company as CTO of Disneyland Resort and VP of Technology and Digital. He led a team of more than 300 and oversaw 140+ guest- and cast-facing applications and the resort-wide wireless infrastructure. Prior to Disney, he held senior IT leadership roles at Toyota and IBM across a 17-year career.
Hanna holds a BS from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and certifications including PMP, J2EE Certified Architect, and IBM Architecture.
About Fernando Perez
Fernando Perez is VP Sports & Hospitality at JMA Wireless, a role he has held since joining the Syracuse-based company in 2015. He works with venue ownership groups, professional sports franchises, regional sporting authorities, and hospitality and gaming enterprises to develop wireless connectivity solutions that serve fans, staff, and operations.
Fernando brings deep experience in the sports and entertainment technology space and has been closely involved in the connectivity infrastructure that underpins modern fan experiences, including at Intuit Dome.
What to Expect
Intuit Dome places the fan at the center of its design. From seamless entry to personalized in-arena services, the venue uses advanced wireless connectivity and digital technology to enhance every aspect of the experience. George and Fernando will walk through how that was built, the decisions behind it, and what it means for teams and venues looking to raise their own standard.
This is a session for anyone working on fan experience, venue technology, or digital strategy. It sets the tone for three days of practitioner-led conversation at SEAT 2026.
SEAT 2026 runs June 28-30 at the Charlotte Convention Center, NC.
